Alerts
AxxiTRIALS is designed with a simple-to-use but robust automated alerts and notification tracking system. It allows the sponsor to alert investigators about new clinical safety reports and SUSARs, updated protocols, new training materials, etc.
AxxiTRIALS sends alerts to each user based on their notification preferences, but the sponsor can override those preferences in urgent cases.
Features of Alerts
Email, Fax, and SMS Notifications
- With one click, the administrator can send notifications about a document via email, fax and SMS
- Users set their preferred way to be notified
- Faxes are sent directly from AxxiTRIALS — a fax machine is not needed
Read Confirmation
- The administrator can specify whether a document requires 'read confirmation' by the investigators
- Investigators must initial before they can access the document
e-Signature
- FDA 21 CFR Part 11-compliant digital signatures with a click of the mouse
- Fully integrated with AxxiTRIALS and does not require software installation
- Investigators and study coordinators can view the document but will receive reminders until a signature is received
- Administrator decides whether each user must sign or whether one signature per study site is sufficient
New and Urgent Alerts
- Easy to see from every page of the portal what actions require attention
- Alerts about a document can be cleared only by reading the document
- Urgent alerts are automatically sent about documents that are approaching or past their due date
Notification, Read Tracking & Reminders
- Sponsor administrators can easily see what documents have or have not been acted on by users
- Notifications can be re-sent to users who have not taken action yet, including the ability to override their notification preferences in order to spur action
